Refund policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, not test-fitted, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds can only be paid in the same tender as the original purchase or refunded to the account used to pay for the item.

Where a credit card attached to an original purchase cannot be produced, the refund will be processed as store gift card.

Returns that are issued as a cash refund will incur a 15% restocking fee on the total value of the goods as purchased and exclude transaction fees.

Returns that are issued as store gift cards will be refunded to the full value of the goods as purchased.

If your order fell under free shipping the initial cost of shipping will also be deducted from the refund.

To Submit a return request

Click the profile icon in the store's navigation, and then request a return.

1. Log in to your account:
1. In the Email field, enter your email address, and then click Continue.
2. In your email account, open the email sent from our store and copy the six-digit verification code included in the email.
3. Go back to the online store, and then enter a six-digit verification code.
2. Click the order that you want to submit the return for.
3. If your order has more than one item, then select the items that you want to return.
4. Select a return reason and add a note for the store.
5. Click Request return.

If your return request is approved, then you will receive an email with return instructions. After the product is returned, you receive a refund.

Faulty Goods Returns
If you believe you have purchased a faulty product, Gktech may have the faulty product assessed to determine the nature and cause of the fault. 

Gktech reserves the right to decline an exchange, refund where any product fault is caused by misuse or neglect.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Final sale items
Final sale items such as all products sold under the scratch and dent section and or otherwise marked, can not be returned.

14 Days Change of mind
If you simply change your mind or you accidentally bought the wrong item. Then, we may accept a return within 14 days of purchase with a valid receipt if the following terms and conditions are met:
  1. If your item was shipped to you free of charge, please note that we will need to recover the shipping costs that were incurred to deliver the item to you.
  2. If open (not new, not sealed, or the seal has been broken), a 15% restocking fee is applied, but the item must be in perfect condition, uninstalled, with all packaging, manuals, and anything else that came with it when sold initially.
  3. Payment expenses incurred by us will not be refunded (Credit Card, EFT, PayPal, etc.).
  4. Shipping costs will not be refunded.
  5. Return postage is at the customer's expense.

General Cancellation Terms

  1. Order Cancellation:
    • Cancellation Window: We aim to ship orders daily, so customers need to contact us as soon as possible to successfully cancel their order.
    • Cancellation Fees: Orders cancelled before shipping may be subject to a cancellation fee to cover transaction fees, which vary depending on the payment method used:
      • Credit/Debit Cards: 1.75% + $0.30 cancellation fee.
      • PayPal: 2.5% + $0.30 cancellation fee.
      • Affirm: A 5% cancellation fee applies.
      • Zip: A 4% cancellation fee applies.
      • Afterpay: A 5% cancellation fee applies.
      • Store Credit: No cancellation fee applies.
    • Before Shipping: Orders can be cancelled before they are shipped, subject to the following conditions:
      • Refund as Gift Card: If you choose to receive your refund as a Gift Card, no deductions will apply.
    • After Shipping: Once an order has been shipped, it cannot be cancelled. However, you may return the item(s) in accordance with our return policy.
  1. Refund Policy:
    • Full Refund: If an order is cancelled before shipping, a full refund will be issued to the original payment method, minus any applicable cancellation fees.
    • After Shipping: If an order is cancelled after shipping, no refund will be issued. However, you may return the item(s) in accordance with our return policy.
    • Return Fees with Store Credit: Please note that if you choose to receive store credit for your cancelled order, return fees do not apply when using the store credit for future purchases.

Afterpay
For purchases made using Afterpay, you may return the purchase by lodging a request via our Returns application form.

Once your order has been returned and we have confirmed receipt by our warehouse, we will send a notification to Afterpay of your return.

Refunds will be processed to Afterpay only and not to credit card, cash or store gift card.

Afterpay Refunds will incur a %5 reduction to cover fees.

 Zip Pay and Zip Money
For purchases made using Zip, you may return the purchase by lodging a request via our Returns application form.

Once your order has been returned and we have confirmed receipt by our warehouse, we will send a notification to Zip of your return.

Refund payments for purchases made using Zip Pay or Zip Money can only be paid back into your Zip Pay or Zip Money account.

If you opened a new Zip Money account for your Gktech purchase and paid Zip an account establishment fee, the account establishment fee will not be part of your Gktech refund. For more information, please contact Zip here: https://help.zipmoney.com.au/hc/en-us


PayPal
Where the original purchase was made via PayPal, you may return the purchase by lodging a request via our Returns application form.

Once your order has been returned and we have confirmed receipt by our warehouse, we will send a notification to PayPal of your return.

Refunds will be processed to PayPal only and not to credit card, cash or gift card.

- You return the item within 30 days of purchase
- The item is in a re-saleable condition, including its original packaging (if any), is unused and as sold

PayPal refunds policy excludes transaction fees 
PayPal does not return transactions fee's for refunds through the PayPal payment gateway. If a refund is deemed to be due to a change of mind by the customer and not at the fault/requirement of GKTECH, GKTECH reserves the right to refund your order excluding PayPal's transaction fee.
