The GKTECH solid aluminium diff bushes are a direct replacement of the standard items and ensure that movement of the diff is kept to a minimum within the subframe which is quite common under hard driving conditions.

In addition to limiting the movement of your rear diff our risers raise the diff within the subframe 20mm limiting the angle of your axles on a lowered vehicle. If your car isn't super low, the OEM style solid bush is suggestd.

OEM Style or 20mm raised version?
If your car is lowered, go with the 20mm raised version. There are no negatives and it fixes up bad axle angles which cause blown cv's.

Note: on SUPER low cars running the 20mm risers your axles may then come into contact with the rear upper camber arm and or subframe which must be notched accordingly. It's uncommon but not impossible. This is not an issue at all with the OEM style solid bushes.

FAQs

What's the difference between your OEM style solid diff bushes and the "raised 20mm" version?
Solid is as the name suggests, solid. Where the risers come in to it is if you have lowered your car the axle angles get messed up. The OEM axles don't work well at high angles and as such can blow our CV joints. By raising your diff 20mm you are correcting the axle geometry by 20mm.

Why not go more than 20mm?
The diff physically can not sit any higher in the subframe. To go one step further you can however raise your subframe also.

What modifications are required, is this hard to fit?
No modifications are required, simply sit the front bush stiffners by hand into the diff, and then press the rear bushes into the subframe. Note on SUPER low cars with the raised 20mm version your axles may then come into contact with the rear upper camber arm and or subframe which must be notched accordingly. It's uncommon but not impossible.

Is there anything else needed for installation?
No, you can use your OEM nuts and bolts, in terms of the bushes they will arrive as shown in the product photo.

Can I install this myself? If so how long will installation take?
Yes, if the diff is out the job will take around 30 minutes to remove the OEM bushes and install the new bushes.

Do these cause much vibration/noise in the cabin?
Not really. Obviously, anything solid or more rigid is going to cause an increase in noise and vibration. However, I'd hardly say that it's noticeable. Chances are if you're installing these you've already got coilovers, your car is lowered, you've got an aftermarket exhaust etc.

Will this fit my car?
We can only confirm fitment for the vehicles listed above under "vehicle compatibility". If your car is not listed there, then we don't know if it will fit.

Do you make these to suit other cars?
We only sell the parts listed on our website. If it's not listed on our website, then we don't sell it. Sorry.
