Setting up a standalone hydraulic handbrake kit can be expensive and require more commitment than you might want, which is why we’ve created this in-line hydraulic handbrake kit. Now, with the added benefit of an inline brake bias valve, this kit offers even greater control and adjustability for your braking system.
The in-line hydraulic handbrake kits are significantly cheaper to set up compared to dual-caliper systems, as they don’t require additional lines, dual caliper brackets, or an extra pair of calipers. Unsprung weight is also reduced, making it a lighter and more efficient option.
The unpredictable nature of the Nissan ABS module, particularly on track, is another reason we’ve included the GKTECH ABS Delete Manifold Block in this kit. This replaces the OEM ABS unit and allows the OEM brake system to work seamlessly with the in-line master cylinder.
What’s New: The Inline Brake Bias Valve
The standout addition to this kit is the inline brake bias valve, which lets you fine-tune the front-to-rear brake balance. This is particularly useful for optimizing braking performance under different track conditions, giving you more control and consistency when it matters most.

ABS Delete Manifold Block: A direct replacement for your OEM ABS unit, designed to work with the included braided brake lines.
Note: This will only work when replacing an Akebono ABS unit. If your car came with non-Akebono brakes, this kit will not be compatible. -
Braided Brake Lines: Made in-house in Australia using stainless steel fittings and PTFE-lined stainless steel braided hose. These lines are specifically designed for the Nissan Z34 370Z chassis and include P clips for secure routing. They’ve been independently tested to meet FMVSS106 standards, ensuring they’re ADR-approved and capable of withstanding extreme conditions, including:

Handbrake Handle: A CNC machined aluminium lever designed for both ergonomics and aesthetics. Available in silver, black, blue, pink, purple, red, orange, gold, or neo chrome.

Master Cylinder: Choose between 5/8" (recommended for non-Brembo calipers) and 3/4" (recommended for Brembo calipers).
Important Notes:
- Removing the ABS unit will disable ABS and TCS functionality.

This kit will only work when replacing an Akebono ABS unit. If your car has non-Akebono brakes, this kit is not compatible.
FAQs
How do I know which size master cylinder to choose?The 5/8" master cylinder is proven on the Z/V36 chassis running non Akebono calipers, the lever feel with this master is balanced, having a longer throw to gauge feel while still efficiently locking the rear brakes.
The 3/4" master cylinder is larger so when used in that same setup the lever feel will be more direct, firmer, and require less throw to lock the rear brakes. If you are running larger brakes such as the factory Akebono calipers and or a larger wheel/tyre setup and do require a bit more bite, we would suggest the 3/4" master cylinder.
Lastly, we have the 7/8” which is slightly larger than the 3/4" for just that bit more of a firm feeling and bite then what 3/4" offers.
