What's the advantage of using the GKTech brake master cylinder stopper?
This small but effective stopper ensures there is no flex in the firewall, which is super noticeable under hard braking.

What modifications are required, is this hard to fit?
No modifications at all, the bracket simply bolts up to the OEM M6 holes in front of the master cylinder.

Is there anything else needed for installation?
No, the kit does come with all accessories and will arrive as shown in the product photo.

Can I install this myself? If so how long will installation take?
Yes, you can. This is a super easy and effective install, which should take around 15 minutes.

I'm running a bigger brake master, will this still fit?
Yes, the brake master cylinder stopper will fit providing that you're still running the standard brake booster.

Does the firewall really flex that much?Yep, it sure does. It's actually very noticeable under hard braking conditions. The brake master cylinder stopper truly does make a difference and is one of the good value for money mods.

S15 Brake Master Cylinder Stopper

Great product! Although a little tedious to install the nut right near the brake master cylinder, once that was on the rest seemed to fall into place. I was a little concerned that the two braces were not going to fit properly, so had to switch around the sequence of which bolts or nuts I was installing till I was able to figure it out. A simple product an installation diagram including a sequence would have made the install a little quicker. But once installed, the brake pedal feels much firmer, and I feel that the brakes have gained extra bite especially when holding the brake pedal at a steady pressure and coming to a stop. I can't wait to go for a longer drive to really test it out! Highly recommend!

Stiffy Master

Nice piece of kit. My fuel pressure regulator was located on the strut tower, but it simply bolted straight over the top of the front bracket. The shorter adjustable rod really came in handy. Great colour and craftsmanship.
