The S14a/S15 eccentric (ie. off-center) throttle wheel makes the travel of the throttle cable down low in the rev range longer and gives you more control, and makes the travel up high shorter for instant throttle response.

Great for drift or even general street use. Seriously, one of the best cheap mods money can buy.

- Light weight T6-6061 billet aluminium construction
- Direct bolt on replacement of the standard throttle wheel

FAQs

Will this fit my car?
We can only confirm fitment for the vehicles listed above under vehicle compatibility. If your car is not listed there, then we don't know if it will fit.

Will this fit my series 1 s14 throttle body?
Although this throttle wheel is not designed to fit, the s14 series two throttle body shaft is 6mm where as the series one is 8mm. Our throttle wheel has been designed to suit the 6mm. This means it can fit but will need to be dremelled out to suit.

Do you make these to suit other cars?
We only sell the parts listed on our website. If it's not listed on our website, then we don't sell it. Sorry.

However, we do sell the same throttle wheel for S13/180sx which can be seen here:https://au.gktech.com/s13-180sx-sr20det-eccentric-throttle-wheel

What's the advantage of using the GKTech eccentric throttle wheel?
The eccentric throttle wheel makes the travel of the throttle cable down low in the rev range longer and gives you more control, and makes the travel up high shorter for instant throttle response.

What modifications are required, is this hard to fit?
No modifications are requiredjust simply remove and refit.

Is there anything else needed for installation?
No, you can use your OEM hardware. In terms of the wheel itself it will arrive as shown in the product photo. Can I install this myself? If so how long will installation take?
Yes, it is straightforward. Installation time should be around 5 minutes.

I have an aftermarket throttle body, will this fit?
Unfortunately, we can only confirm fitment on OEM throttle bodies. We suggest trying to fit your OEM throttle wheel on your aftermarket throttle body and if it fits then more then likely our throttle wheel will fit also.

Will I have to get my car tuned after installing the throttle wheel?
No, nothing is changed in terms of the engine. The wheel just alters the feel of the throttle which ultimately gives you more control.

S14/15 throttle wheel not fitting properly

Hey guys,

Went to fit the throttle wheel to my car and realised that it doesn’t fit over the thread for me to put the nut back on, I may have been sent an s13 one I’m not too sure, was just wondering if I’d be able to send it back and swap it

Cheers - John✌

Hi John, sounds like you have an early model (aka Zenki) throttle body which has an 8mm shaft vs 6mm shaft on the late model S14's and S15's. If you haven't damaged the wheel attempting to fit it you're welcome to return it.

very nice

fits well, very well made. I used it for a different application (7M-GTE) but the throttle response is much improved for low throttle angles. Makes it a lot easier to control part-throttle and street driving.
