What's the advantage of using the GKTech transmission springs?
They make your gear stick move towards the center of the box (ie. neutral) faster and keep force on it to give you more feel of the shifter.
What modifications are required, is this hard to fit?
No modifications are required, simply just remove and refit.
Is there anything else needed for installation?
No, you can use your OEM hardware, in terms of the spring kit itself it will arrive as shown in the product photo.
Can I install this myself? If so how long will installation take?
Yes, provided you have general mechanical knowledge it is very straightforward. Installation should take around 20 minutes.
How do I install these springs?
Very easily, remove the 2 bolts on the transmission under the shifter area (there's one on each side) and insert the new springs and do up the bolts.

Track only drifting S13 with RB25 engine and gearbox. Super easy to install, just jack the car up slide under with a spanner, and change the springs.
Huge difference. Testing with lugged scales I was getting about 1.2kg of force with stock springs. Putting in the heavy and the light spring I saw about 3.5kg

Does what it says it does. With this and the brass bush, shifter feel is improved quite a bit. Think I'll end up going short shifter kit eventually too, but the box feels good with just these two simple mods. Great support and customer service from GK peeps. Happy days.

Have purchased multiple produces for multiple cars
Both my 32 gt-r & S13 drifter run your shifter return kit, steering rack solid mounts & steering shaft spacer.
If I could make one suggestion, maybe make the s chassis solid rack mounts a little more wrap around like the factory rubber mounts.
(maybe more like a calm shell that goes 80% around the rack not just 40% like currently)
I know they still do the same job but from a mental mind set, It gives you more confidence to have more contact patch with the rack.😅
Also much easier to install when there two half moons!

Fitment is easy, put the stiffest spring in the 5th/reverse side to stop accidentally going 2nd to 5th whilst getting a bit hairy mid drift, 10/10 recommend
Pretty good product tried to stack the springs together as stated they could be but jammed up the shifter with the small spring other then that it's a great product

I'm using these in a drift car application. I've put the heavy springs in the LHS of gearbox to help with shifting from 2nd to 3rd and left stock springs in RHS to make down shifting from 3rd to 2nd nice and fast.

this is the best thing u can do to your gearbox and its so cheap and easy to install takes 10 min max. i used the heavy springs that come in the kit cause i wanted it to be super firm because it was so sloppy before now it feels like a new rb25 neo box 👌
