The GKTECH solid subframe bushes are a direct replacement of the standard items and ensure that movement of the subframe is kept to a minimum.
They eliminate axle tramp whilst also raising the subframe 15mm which helps to correct the roll center on lowered vehicles.

FAQsWill this fit my car?
We can only confirm fitment for the vehicles listed above under vehicle compatibility. If your car is not listed there, then we don't know if it will fit.
Do you make these to suit other cars?
We only sell the parts listed on our website. If it's not listed on our website, then we don't sell it. Sorry.
However, we do sell the same bushes in Polyurethane, which can be seen here:https://au.gktech.com/polyurethane-rear-subframe-bushes
What's the advantage of using the GKTech solid rear subframe bushes?
The solid bushes offer a more solid rear end which equals to a better driver control and feel for the rear end. The Gktech solid bushes also raise the subframe 15mm, improving roll centre correction.
What modifications are required, is this hard to fit?
The only modification required is you will need to slightly bend the OEM front brace to reach the mounting holes. Apart from that, no modifications are required just simply remove and refit the bushes.
Is there anything else needed for installation?
No, you can use your OEM hardware. In terms of the bushes themselves, they will arrive as shown in the product photo.
Can I install this myself? If so how long will installation take?
Yes, provided you have general mechanical knowledge they are relitively straightforward. Installation time should be around 1 hour once the subframe is out. However, being a suspension componentwe recommend only a trained professional to install this product.
Do these cause much vibration/noise in the cabin?
Not really. Obviously anything solid or more rigid is going to cause an increase in noise and vibration however I'd hardly say that it's noticeable. Chances are if you're installing these you've already got coilovers, your car is lowered, you've got an aftermarket exhaust etc. etc.
Do these bushes change the height of the subframe?
Yes, they raise the subframe 15mm, which improves roll center. Will I have to get a wheel alignment after installing these? Considering the subframe has been removed and refitted 15mm higher, this will change your alignment. If any suspension changes are made we do recommend a wheel alignment.
Do I need to remove the OEM inner sleeve when installing these bushes?
Yes, the OEM inner sleeve will need to be removed. This can be seen in the install video above. This needs to be done as the Gktech bushes are a direct replacement of both the inner sleeve and the bush.
Which way are these bushes supposed to be fitted?
When looking at the subframe in the car, they are to be fitted from the bottom (ground) to the top (chassis). If they were to be fitted the other way around the subframe would possibly fall out.

Fits my s14 perfectly keep up the good work guys
The solid mounts shouldn’t really be for a z32 even though they say they are for them. The mount finishes short 10mm with the top of the sun frame. When contacting GK tech they knew about this and advised me to pack it out with something or get a washer machined, if they know about it why not sell an option to supply the 10mm washer, to me it is half a job and am unhappy with it as now it is my issue to resolve. When asked for a refund I was told to remove and send back for a refund, because getting out solid bushes are easy thing to do. Won’t ever use GK tech again.
Hi Alexander, sorry to hear you're unhappy but there is no need for your concern. Regardless of the bush sitting 10mm short of the top of the subframe, the bush by design MUST be short of the top of the subframe. The subframe is to be hard mounted against the chassis, not the bush. Whether that's a few mm's (on an S/R chassis subframe) or 10mm on a Z32 subframe, it's irrelevant. Yes, we did offer you a full refund as a gesture of good will. Sorry that you were unhappy with that outcome.
