Checking Dispatch Times...The new V5 GKTECH Caster Arms offer the most amount of clearance available in a caster rod while now being 16mm thick AND now have on-car adjustment!
Caster arms (aka tension rods) allow adjustment in vehicle castor to bring the wheels forward and increase steering response. In general, the more caster the better. Allowing sharper turn in and faster return to the straight position when letting go of the wheel.
- V5 arms now feature on-car adjustment to make alignments a breeze!
- V5 arms feature high quality 5/8" Teflon lined pillow ball rod ends which eliminate the flex found in factory rubber bushing offering a more direct and predictable feel.
- V5 arms are manufactured from 4130 chromoly sheet with billet CNC machined ends and CNC machined 4130 chromoly adjusters.
- CAD designed, FEA tested, CNC machined ends and TIG welded
- V5 arms include offset bush spacers for even more clearance
- Offers a total of 56mm extra wheel clearance which equates to roughly 9 degrees of additional wheel clearance.

Do you make these to suit other cars?
We only sell the parts listed on our website. If it's not listed on our website, then we don't sell it. Sorry.
What modifications are required, is this hard to fit?
No modifications are required, simply just remove and refit.
Is there anything else needed for installation?
No, we do supply nuts and bolts for the rear of the caster arm however you will need to use your OEM bolt for the front. In terms of the arms themselves they will arrive as shown in the product photo.
Can I install this myself? If so how long will installation take?
Yes, provided you have general mechanical knowledge as they are relitively straightforward. Installation time should be around 30 minutes. However, being a suspension componentwe recommend only a trained professional to install this product.
Will I have to get a wheel alignment after installing these?
Even if you have matched the arm length to OEM. We still do recommend a wheel alignment after any suspension changes.
Are these suspension arms legal for use on street cars?
Our understanding is that any suspension arm with a rose joint is not legal for street use in Australia. However, we do recommend that you contact your local RTA for clarification/confirmation. Whether you use a suspension arm with a rose joint on public roads is at your discretion.
How long is the warranty on these arms?
All GKTECH suspension arms come with a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects and the Teflon lined heim joints come with a 1 year replacement warranty. We stock spare heims so even after the 12 months is up we can still help with replacements, worse case scenario they're a 5/8 heim joint and are readily available through your local autoshop.
Are there any special tools required?
No, a spanner set will do the job which we do sell separately here - Open ended spanners

I bought Gktech castor arms for my R32 Gtst hillclimb/super sprint car after watching a video on the product and was keen on the idea of additional caster angle.
I am wrapped after the fitting and having an additional 2degrees of castor over my old ajustable arms. The additional clearance was not required as my sway bar is in the way, the sway bar was not a factory item and was purchased to clear a larger sump.
I have sine replaced all the rear arms and had an alignment and am looking forward to a run this weekend

Got these for my r32 to adjust caster and the install video made it super easy to put in. Wish the supplied nut and bolt weren’t different sizes but that’s just a pet peeve. Car drives noticeably better now.
