The GKTECH S13 Silvia/180sx SR20 engine torque dampners do as the name suggests, they dampen the movement of the engine under load.

Particularly useful in a drift car where the car is off and on the throttle although all forms of motorsport will see an improvement in the feel of the car but without the drastic increase in vibrations that using solid engine mounts will see.

Retrofitted to 2006 Nissan Xtrail

I fitted this between firewall and engine block. No added vibrations and smoother shifts now in the auto transmission which was a bit jolty prior. Happy with results.

Item does not line up to block as stated on install, I still made it fit but more forward surprised I made it work. Mounting plates come a bit scratched up &engine plate mount has no reinforcement in its bend. Seems to do the job, keen to see its full potential as intended. (Generous 4stars) Kindest regards.. db

Hi Dan, we haven't had any fitment issues reported and have installed them in our own cars over the years. Are you running a VCT motor in your S13?

Great and works perfect 1 problem though

The hardware could use a bit more though giant bolt sitting in the top looks a bit off, but the most important thing is the bracket that connects to the block. The holes are to short to line up right for the recommended location, have to move bracket over to the left making it side a bit sideways still works perfect and looks just fine. But definitely the only thing that could use improvement
