The GKTECH S/R chassis diff brace for 350z/370z diff conversion provides additional support to the diff resulting in reduced wheel hop under hard driving conditions.

The OEM diff cover uses just a single bush and stud which is prone to premature wear and excessive movement which can cause the rear stud to break off the cover. Our kit is unique.

It's compact and rigid design bolts to the rear sheet in the subframe and as such, is very easy to install.

- Solid steel sheet metal construction, TIG welded and e-coated for rust prevention.

NOTE: will only fit 2 bolt R200 subframes when running a 350z or 370z diff conversion

FAQs

What modifications are required, is this hard to fit?
Firstly, you'll need to have a 350z or 370z diff in your R200 subframe. If you don't already have this, you'll need our conversion bushes (titled Z33X-CONV) on our website. You will then need to drill a 12mm hole into the rear sheet metal of the subframe for the support stud. Besides that, the install is very easy.

Is there anything else needed for installation?
No, nothing else is required.

Can I install this myself? If so how long will installation take?
Yes, the installation is very easy and can be done in under 15 minutes with just basic tools.

Do these cause much vibration/noise in the cabin?
Not really. Obviously, anything solid or more rigid is going to cause an increase in noise and vibration. However, I'd hardly say that it's noticeable.

Will this brace work with the Nismo diff cover?
Yes, this brace will work with the Nismo diff cover without modifications.

Will this brace work with the Z1 diff cover?
Yes, however some modifications to the covers fins will be required.

I have a two bolt rear subframe with your hicas lock bar, will this clear?
Yes, however you will need to slightly modify the brace to clear the lock bar.

S chassis (s15) brace with 350z diff

Installed my brace as well as reinforcement subframe plates and they work/look great! My only suggestions would be to add a notch or hole on the bracket before installing that allows you to flush fluids without needing to take the bracket on/off as it covers the fill hole on the diff and adding an online print out template for notching the reinforcements! Overall very happy with these products

R chassis 350z diff brace

Doesn’t work with the gusset kit unless you cut a big hole in the gusset as wasn’t designed around the gusset kit for the s14,s15,r33 non hicas subframe, also you have to remove the brace to check or change the oil with the factory 350z rear cover which is a pain especially if you’ve already had subframe blasted and powder coated

Hi Ash, you are correct that if using our gusset kit you would need to modify the gusset to fit the diff brace at the same time. Unfortunately, when we make 500+ individual parts, we can't always make all of them fit with one another. Yes, you do have to unbolt the diff brace to change the diff oil. This is a consequence of having a strong brace. Fortunately, it's 3 bolts to unbolt it and it's not too often that you would need to change your diff oil.
